Hello friend, I've been investing in (2) areas for 5 months. It's not easy staying focused but....
There are really only two things that matter in today's digital climate.
Authority & Lead Gen
A strong content strategy leads to both, and you don't need to be an expert to pull it off. What you need is time, commitment, and saas. That's all!
Consistent content creation with a strong eye training on what's working will help anyone develop authority. (personally, I think 90% of authority is visibility). It's been a challenge over the last few months, but not for the reason I expected it. Here's what's been difficult.
Improving Fast (enough)
constantly staying ahead of my skills to ensure that the "packaging" of content reflects the quality.
Fighting the Urge to Convert
it's all top of the funnel up here, and that leads me to create content that could be icky, cringeworthy, and less interesting than I'd like. When I started, I was worried about having to ask for sales; that part is easy, but playing to the masses is hard.
Re-Investing in SaaS
to do diligence to the content I'm creating, we're now creating massive amounts of Landing Pages, Content Anchors, and, of course, messaging funnels. What is content if not a means to qualify your ideal working partners?
Patience
i just want to go fast. And every day, I have to redirect myself back into the creation, ignoring the results. It's why I have the mentality that the only real existence is the present. Results are a fallacy.
If you're scaling a business, content, or contract work, I have only one piece of advice - Keep On. Learn to love the process and improve each moment, and you'll have all the results you need.
